The last few days have been in the 90’s and humid. And our central air conditioning took this opportunity to break! So we’ve been camped out in our basement, which has a little sitting room and guest bedroom. Luckily, Walt doesn’t know the difference yet, and appears to be taking things in stride!
We’ve had a wild few days so thanks for your patience in waiting for a photo. Walt is home from the hospital today, happy and healthy. So without further ado, here he is!

For Christmas, I got the classic Getz-Gilberto bossa nova album and I’ve played it so much I expect the baby to practically come out singing “The Girl from Ipanema.”
Happy Mother’s Day!
A few of my coworkers were hypothesizing this week that my tummy had “dropped,” so here’s a photo to compare. The shirt is cut a bit differently, but it does look like things have headed a little lower. At least I hope so; I’m ready for the baby to show up!
One month and counting! It’s hard to believe I’m going to get bigger than this! I had a good doctor’s appointment yesterday. Everything’s going according to plan, and the baby is in the right position. Appointments will be weekly from here on out!
